About

Built for merchants who treat privacy as table stakes.

XMRgate is a six-person bootstrapped team headquartered in Tallinn. We've worked on payment infrastructure and open-source wallet tooling for the better part of a decade, and we kept running into the same gap: every "crypto payments" provider quietly logs, custodies, or KYC's the buyer. We built the one that doesn't.

What we believe

Privacy is a default, not a setting.

Customer IPs and PII are stripped at the edge before any application server sees them. There is no toggle — it's how the system is built.

Wallet operations are visible and accountable.

Buyer payments enter platform-controlled wallets, balances are credited after confirmation, fees are deducted clearly, and merchants set their own payout addresses.

Approved merchants, not open signup.

Every merchant is reviewed by a human. It's slower, but it keeps abuse low and lets us stay no-log without becoming a fraud vector.

Boring infrastructure.

Postgres, Redis, Docker, Hetzner. No surprise dependencies, no opaque third-party SaaS in the payment path.

How we make money

One number: 0.5% of every settled invoice. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no spread on conversion (there is no conversion). We don't sell data — we couldn't if we wanted to, see the no-log policy.
